Because it is culinary diversity the Batam gevernment since 2008 has always held a culinary festival with different names in each year, of which, Food Festival Batam, Batam Seafood Festival and in 2013 was titled “Batam International Culinary Fiesta”. According to information from the Department of Batam Tourism Batam International Culinary Fiesta event will be held in September 2013 in conjunction with the “National Culture Festival”.
This culinary festival aims to promote a variety of culinary products nationwide, so that culinary businesses can introduce culinary products to the people of Batam also promote to foreign tourists and domestic tourists. And of course an event like this will attract foreign and domestic tourists to visit more to Batam.
