Open Road Race 2016 Batam will be held in Marina Circuit, which was recently active again in this early year. Marina Circuit was famous years before as a go-kart circuit for tourist, but then inactive for some reason. But now, this circuit is active again and crowded every weekend. Promotion after promotion has spread around the city.
Light Up Marina Waterfront City
On the beginning of Marina Waterfront planning, this area was meant to be tourism attractions for traveler and tourist. That is why; this area has a special treatment than other area at Batuaji District.
There are two big resorts (Holiday Inn and Harris Resort Waterfront) and one international ferry terminal here.
Aside of that, there are tourist attractions also, like Marina Beach, Cable Ski Batam and Marina Circuit Gokart. Even now, Marina Waterfront has other tourist attractions like, agro tourism Guava Plantation Park and fishing spot. Both are near Marina Circuit.
Even some of this area was abandoned, but main tourist attractions are still available and operate everyday, and this area are most crowded on weekend and holiday.

Open Road Race 2016 Batam
This early September, there will be first road race event in Batam for 2016. This event, “Open Road Race 2016 Batam” will be held in Marina Circuit, Marina Waterfront City, Batam on 3 September 2016.
There are many classes on this event like, 4 stroke 125cc Tune Up Open, 4 stroke 125cc Tune Up Beginner, 4 stroke 115cc Tune Up Beginner, 4 stroke standard 125cc Beginner, 2 stroke standard 120cc open, 2 stroke 130cc tune up open, FFA Class and 4 stroke sport 250cc.
There will be also supporting event which will be entertaining, which is Gokart Rotax Class which will have performance from Gokart Racer from Kepri, Jakarta, Bandung and other cities. This event will be awesome!
