In order to show the 25th National Musabaqoh Tilawatil Quran ( MTQ ) at Riau Islands province precisely in Batam, National Crafts Council (Dekranasda) a province of Riau Islands, exhibiting typical handicraft products of each region in the bazaar exhibition 25th National MTQ in Batam, next 5 to 14 June 2014.
Quoted from BatamPos.co.id, bazaar National MTQ is an opportunity for the craftsmen of the Riau Islands province to introduce handicrafts were produced over the years. National MTQ activity is in line with Indonesia Creative Products Week (PPKI) which will be held simultaneously. Estimated by two major events organized by the Provincial Government of Riau Islands in Batam will attract many tourists both domestic and foreign.
Crafts to be exhibited include Batik Kepri and more handicrafts from artisans under the guidance of Dekranasda Kepri. Riau Islands Provincial Government held a National MTQ in Batam will be packed like international MTQ. National MTQ mat held every two years in rotation in all provinces in Indonesia. Currently, Indonesia has 34 provinces, it means the Riau Islands province will host the National MTQ next 68 years. Therefore, the momentum of this year’s implementation of the National MTQ actually organized as well as possible, because only 68 more years of the new moment will happen again.
