How to go to Camp Vietnam Batam
Located in Galang Island, which is already outside the main island of Batam, to reach Camp Vietnam Batam, it will takes approximately one and a half hour from Batam Center. It can be less or more time deoending on where you’re start.
It will across 5 bridge chain of the famous Barelang bridge, so it will worth a journey for you. But unfortunately, there is no public transportation to reach here. The only transportation which is given by government is mean to used by students only.
It is highly recommended for the tourists which will visit Camp Vietnam Batam to rent a car or motorbike or going along with tour services. Along the way there are much to see, like Dragon Fruit plantations owned by local people. Unfortunately, when we were visited the farm, the dragon fruit harvest haven’t started yet. But the fruit is still available in their store.
Short History of Camp Vietnam in Batam
The history of our country, Indonesia, have noted that we had contributed greatly for Vietnam as the country’s colonial period and most of the residents went sailing across the sea to find a safe and free of war.
