Batam has total of five international ferry terminal, one of them is Batam Center International Ferry Terminal. This ferry terminal is the busiest ferry terminal in Batam among the others. It is because Batam Center Ferry terminal is located in the center of town and administrative center of Batam.

Batam Center International Ferry Terminal Strategic Location

This ferry terminal is located at Jalan Engku Puteri, in downtown Batam Center. Batam Center International Ferry Terminal is adjacent to Harris Hotel Batam Center, Mega Mall Batam Center, Sumatra Building of Promotion Center, BP Batam Office (formerly the Batam Authority), Batam Mayor’s Office, Immigration Office, Bank Indonesia, Batam City Legislature Building, and the State Attorney’s Office of Batam.

The advantages of Batam Center International Ferry Terminal is, a terminal is directly connected via a bridge across Jl. Engku Puteri to Mega Mall Batam Center, one of the largest malls in Batam.

So that foreign tourists who are coming from Singapore and Malaysia can immediately traveled or shopping at this mall. Usually, foreign tourist will be at Mega Mall Batam Center while waiting for their ferry departure.
